I would say 2023 was a great year. Once again went by away to fast but we did a fair amount, had some great adventures and enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Less than I wanted but I will fix that in 2024 for our fun camping trips.

60th birthday, 6th birthday, a few weddings thrown in this year.

Get togethers are always fun

I can honestly say I am thoroughly enjoying retirement. Lots of get togethers, and one oddity in that I golfed the least in 10 years only hitting 65 games this year. A cruise in June, camping for three weeks, and just busy I guess. I didn’t have as many big projects this year. Now I am writing this I change my mind and am saying this year flew by. Darn the older you get the faster time supposedly flies by but I always thought it was because old people move so slow. LOL.

I guess we will wait to see what 2024 brings. Here are a few things on my wish list. To golf more, fish more, camp more, sit on a deck with a cold beer more, spend more time at Oasis, spend less, lower my handicap to single digit, play Oasis course more, sit on a patio with friend’s having a meal and drinking more, plan a big trip for 2025 which most likely will be a cruise. I do know that my brother turns 70 in 2024, my sister turns 65 in 2024, Fred turns 70 in 2024, Wendy turns 60, it is my 50th year out of high school, so lots of big events. So it is looking like a great year.
