“Mercury Forecast Edmonton 24 degrees, Calgary 25 degrees, Mesa 42 degrees”

Our guests were taking off to Hinton today and our girls were running the Mud Girls race today. Victoria had a work group attend and they needed one more so Jessica joined in.

Ok, I would not want to “run” this race and it is a huge accomplishment to finish but the word RACE maybe left out of the marketing. It is a MUD WALK. Not easy by any stretch but as it is designed with the focus on women the competitive edge is removed out of the equation. There were women of every size and shape and age. I was impressed so many older women running. Loads of younger kids with their Mom’s making the event.

The most impressive thing is Jessica running the 5km race with one shoe for 4kms. She lost it in mud and couldn’t find it and ran the race without. That is amazing.

I thought I was attending a drywall mudding training session. All of the mud to fill all of those cracks.
