It appears everyone survived Halloween. Hope every picked up a lot of candy, So do the dentists. On the news this am it also appeared overall everyone was well behaved. Misbehavior on Halloween has been around for ever. We had out outside toilet flipped when Mom & dad had the garage in Niton Junction. Toilet paper hung in trees was a common occurrence everwhere.

First thing this morning I took my Jeep and parked it on the street. I rented it out starting Nov 1st thinking we would be gone or at the most a couple of days past. But things changed so street parking for a couple of weeks.

I have to say my new seat covers look awesome.

Permanent Daylight Time alias Alberta Time is good and bad. First of all it is a good thing NOT to change back and forth between daylight and standard time but I think we picked the wrong way. This morning in bed I turned on the TV and lo and behold the news NOW doesn’t come on until after I am out of bed. Global is ok but it the Good Morning America news which is always more interesting to watch. So I watched a few different programs. I really like Vassy the way she reports and asks questions. It appears not matter which way the US mid terms go Canada will be no better off. The extremely arrogant Pete Hoekstra has said if the Democrats are successful it is Canada’s fault. So we will get revenge tariffs against us if the Dems win and we will get more or a stronger arm against us if the Republicans win. We can’t win either way.

We will have our new budget coming for Canada two days after the mid-terms which will be interesting. The one thing I want people to understand is Carney ( like him or not) is a financial expert. If he gives 2 billion for job creation as an example there is no budget line to show the reward. The reward is in the future but the money is investment in jobs, people paying taxes and overall economy return. That is the way a budget is and alarm bells should be sounded just because someone thinks more debt. Debt in investment in our country is good debt and if sound will be repaid and contribute more to the economy. But we have to wait. Ps I have not forgiven the vote on the tanker ban though..
